75th Annual CTV Lion’s Christmas Telethon
Sunrisers Jeff Shrigley, Kris Cacciotti, Tina Senese and Giorgio Lagana helped out at the telethon on Saturday - answering phones from 9-11pm and (in Giorgio’s case) doing a number of hockey jersey swaps for charity. The Sunrisers also made a $1000 donation on behalf of the Rotary Club of Sudbury Sunrisers.

And for those of you who aren’t aware, Sunriser Sandi Campbell hosted the telethon with Peter Mallette, circa 1980-81? Yes, she was once young.

Nutrition for the Mission
Volunteers are still needed this Wednesday for the NUTRITION FOR the MISSION project at Chris’s Independent! Sunrisers will encourage shoppers to purchase $10, $20 or $50 bags of food used to prepare meals at the Elgin St. Mission. Contact Barb if you can help out.

Giving Hearts
On Thursday this week, Sunriser Matt Bonin will join Sunriser Dawn Condon at Connected Living Yoga and Wellness for a free coffee chat at 1:00pm. The topic of conversation is “Finding Hope - Moving from Darkness to Light.” The event is part of the Connected Living Giving Hearts Open House Week.

Mission 31
The following dates are still available for Sunrisers or local business teams to serve dinner at the Elgin St. Mission – December 8th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th. Mission 31 receives no regular government funding, and with an increased demand for their services, it is incredibly important that we do whatever we can to fundraise for this vital cause.

Christmas Party
See everyone at our annual Sunriser Christmas Party on Thursday, December 7th at Peppi Panini (downtown). The fun and frivolity starts at 5pm!

Toy Drive
From Past-President Kris:
As we approach our third Christmas without our sweet boy, we want to continue our tradition of collecting children's toys to donate in Everett's honour. We're collecting new, unwrapped toys for children from infant to age 12 until December 11th. We will once again be donating to Our Children, Our Future, which is a local, not-for-profit charitable organization committed to securing a better future for local children. We want to spread Evvy's love and continue his legacy by brightening the lives of other kiddos in our community. For donating options, reach out to Kristofer Cacciotti - 705-690-5159. Or I can collect them all at Rotary on Thursday! Thanks everyone! 🎅❤️
