At last week's meeting the club welcomed Dr. Robert Haché, President of Laurentian University as its guest speaker. He assumed his position as the 11th president and vice-chancellor of LU on July 1st, 2019. Dr. Robert Haché showcased how Laurentian is a special place, beautiful campus, signature programs, dedicated and committed faculty and staff as well as engaged students. The University focuses on the student journey and is striving to build international recognition while having a strong national and regional impact. Laurentian is #1 in the province in terms of students finding employment in their field of study within 6 months of graduation and #2 in the province with respect to starting salaries for its graduates.
