At last week's meeting, Amanda Robichaud, Director and Chaplan at the Elgin St. Mission reminded Rotarians that 2020 was a triathlon for which we did not know we signed up and that tragedies and difficult times help evaluate what is important in our lives. Pre-covid the Elgin St, Mission served 100,000 meals a year and provided counselling and other services to clients going through difficult times. During Covid-19 the Elgin St. Mission in collaboration with community partners like Rotary Sunrisers found creative ways to continue meeting the needs of clients. Rotary Sunrisers' support through its Mission 31 Christmas campaign and other initiatives throughout the year is critical to the Mission continuing to be a positive change agent in our community.
