Here is a recap of our meeting last week with guest speaker Cora DeMarco from the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce

At our July 22nd Rotary meeting, Cora DeMarco, the Immediate past Chair of the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, shared with Rotarians how her ability to advocate for her business, through Chamber activities, motivated her to become a member.
The Chamber represents 750 businesses in Greater Sudbury and leverages various activities and tactics to influence public policy and positively impact both businesses and the broader community."
Information for the Bus to Timmins for Rotary Conference
If you have expressed interest in the Bus to the Rotary Conference in Timmins, you now need to confirm your reservation by contacting Hammond Transportation/Muskoka Travel Service and pay the $150 per person return fare. Anyone else who wishes to join the bus is also invited to do so by making your reservation.
Please complete your reservation by August 18, 2021.
Based on the interest expressed so far, the bus will start in Orillia early on the morning of Thursday September 9 and will make stops in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge before proceeding to Timmins to arrive before 5:00pm – just in time for the Golf dinner. Passengers will need to travel to the pick up points on their own.
The return trip will leave Timmins on Sunday September 12 shortly after the end of the program which is scheduled to be at 10:30am.
Should we receive sufficient interest from Barrie the bus will start there.
Additional stops can also be added in Huntsville and North Bay should there be any passengers from those locations.
The bus service is still dependant on receiving confirmed reservations so don’t delay, make your reservation as soon as possible.
Full details of the stops and timing along the route will be provided once the final passenger list is established.
Full refunds will be provided in the event that the bus service is cancelled.
