Should you not pay by June 15th, 2022, Jeff will follow up with a phone call to see your intentions.

If you are not planning on returning, please advise Jeff Shrigley.

If you have not paid by June 29th, 2022, you will be removed from Clubrunner, so the club does not get charged.

Weekly Updates
At last week's meeting, eight hardy Sunrisers met at our gazebo along the Ramsey Lake Boardwalk for coffee, fellowship, and the long awaited plaque unveiling.

The gazebo was the brainchild of Past-President David Boyce, and was constructed as part of the Club's 10th anniversary celebrations.
Thanks to the planning committee members, Past President David Boyce, Brian Smith, Sandi Campbell, current President Shannon Kenrick-Rochon and Sunriser Julie DeSimone for a job well done.

Shout out to Rotarian David Petryna of Petryna Advertising for producing the sign at cost.

So the next time you and your family are out for a walk, have a seat and enjoy the sunrise!

District News
We are pleased to announce that our District's participation in the End Polio Now Tulip Campaign.

In 2021, the net proceeds of $61,667.36, coupled with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Matching Grant of 2 to 1, resulted in a total contribution of just over $185,000 towards this critical initiative from clubs across Canada.

Clubs in our District sold 665 boxes, resulting in our share of the total proceeds coming in at $30,802.80.

The cost is the same as last year - $25 per box (25 bulbs), Including taxes and shipping.

The contribution to the End Polio Now campaign will end up being $13 to $14 per box sold, with the credit going to each club.

The bulbs will be delivered in late September or early October 2022 for planting which means that they should bloom in the Spring of 2023!

Given there is not a great deal of area to plant at Rotary park - this is a request if anyone would like to purchase for their OWN PERSONAL USE.  If so, please have money to me by JUNE 10th, 2022.  No MOOLA no TULIPs

Sincerely,

Shannon
