From the Desk of President Shannon:
We are looking for students who have demonstrated leadership qualities in their school and/or community.
The club is able to sponsor 2 students per club.
The candidates should be between Grade 9 and 12 at the time of the event.
Since this is a virtual event, it is possible to have nominees attend from abroad.

If you know a student who might be a great fit, please contact me so we can use this opportunity to engage the youth of the community.

Sincerely,
Shannon
Weekly Updates
At last week’s meeting Sunrisers met Jennifer McCauley, Executive Director, L'Arche Sudbury and James Ilves(seen below) one of the residents of Bethany House.

L’Arche Sudbury is proud to have three homes where people with and without intellectual disabilities can live, work, pray, and celebrate the gift of sharing life with one another.
These three beautiful homes are named Bethany House, Galilee House, and Jericho House.

L’Arche communities around the world belong to an International Federation.
The role of L’Arche International, as a unifying organization, is to support its members administratively, legally and financially and help them live out their mission.
The Federation seeks to promote diversity and solidarity across geographical and psychological borders.
